Why Do You Want to Remove Text from Image
Occasionally your client might give you a photo, and say: “I would like to use this photo as background for a poster, but it has a lot of texts on it from the previous marketing campaign.”
Obviously, there is no layered PSD file you can go back to. Your task now will be removing any text on that image with minimal damage.

Some Tips on Removing Texts from Image
There are a few tips to share with you so you can avoid some common mistakes along the way:
- For ultra-quick selection of the text, use “Select Subject” function, available on the latest version of Photoshop;
- You may need to expend your text selection to make sure there is no imperfections around the edge of the text – if that’s the case, go to the top menu Select > Modify > Expand, expand the selection by a small pixel.
That’s it for this post! Hope you find it useful. Till next time, have a great day!
