In this post, we will showcase poster designs from all Summer Olympic Games, starting from the very first Olympic Game Athens 1896 to Tokyo 2020, for your inspiration.
We’re in the year of 2020 and one of the biggest events in the year is the Summer Olympics, to be held in Tokyo between 24 July and 9 August. Unfortunately, with the Coronavirus crisis happening around the world, the viability of the Tokyo olympics has been thrown into doubts. Of course the health of the athletes and spectators come first, and it will a great shame if the Olympics is to be postponed, or worse cancelled.
The Olympic poster design is one of the most important artworks for the game. The posters represent the uniqueness of each hosting city, and convey the Olympic values and ideas to the general public.
